Long time coming

Sweater - Avenue, Pants - Simply Be, Shoes - old.
I've been dealing with some personal lady-health type issues, so I've gotten a little behind. Even though these clogs aren't the most comfortable for long days (or my pathetic attempts at heel wearing), I still like them because they make my legs look long. I hear tell that some people can wear heels all day and not be crippled by them, but I live in flats.

Shirt - Simply Be, Pants - Denim 24/7, Shoes - Target.
This shirt is brand new. Even though it's winter now (disregarding the fact that it got up to 70 here yesterday), I just thought it was so pretty and fluttery that I had to buy it before it went out of stock. It's still available in a  size 18 as I write this, but sold out in every other size, so that was definitely the right choice.

We put up our first Christmas tree this weekend (we're doing two, and planning to put up the second this coming weekend). Has everyone else decorated already, or do you wait until closer to Christmas/Hanukkah/holiday of your choice?

  1. Hey - do you have any interest in owning this Joe Brown's shirt? http://www.simplybe.com/joe-browns-apparel/joe-browns-new-relaxed-shirt-length-from-32in/invt/vx522hx/

I used a credit from SimplyBe to buy it. It's SO sheer and long that I don't think I'll ever wear it. I just feel awkward. But maybe you would like it? I think mine is a 16.

  2. Hah! I haven't decorated, shopped, or done anything. At all. Because I am lazy.

Glad to see you, hope you're feeling better!

  3. I haven't decorated yet! But my mom gave me a pretty ornament to put up (a tulip since she lives in one of the largest tulip-growing areas in the world), so now I need to go to Target and buy a fake mini-tree or something to hang it on. I love holidays but am not usually much of a decorator, and I'm trying to change that in small ways this year! (Like with Halloween and my little orange-o-lantern.)
